MY THINGS
The time was 1998 and I was in my late 20's. I was in North America, Europe, the Middle East, the Indian region, and Asia. I was a wandering backpacking traveler for two years in about 30 countries around the world.
As I traveled to various countries, I saved money and was rewarded with the occasional local Japanese meal. At that time, however, few Japanese restaurants or ramen stores anywhere in the world represented authentic Japan, The design is somewhat awkward, and katakana and hiragana are upside down and left to right, The furnishings are Chinese, and the waitresses in kimono wear bee-sans under their feet, Somehow it lacks the authentic Japanese feel and design. I remember seeing many restaurants that made me chuckle.
After returning to Japan, he went through twists and turns, and in 2007, in Fukuoka, where he knew no one, The couple started a small design company called Justy Plant.
At first, I started out mainly designing T-shirts, which I loved,The local nature of the food capital and the relationships with the people we met there led to a gradual increase in the number of restaurant jobs, From local thriving restaurants to Michelin-starred restaurants, and even national chain companies. Design and production of various food and beverage related logo designs and uniforms, including T-shirts, We have been working on branding and are currently in the process of doing so.
We started out mainly with T-shirt design, but over the past 17 years, The range of items produced gradually increased, In addition, more and more food and beverage companies are expanding their business overseas, and "Maehake", "Noren", "Tenpu", and "Tow towel", etc. are also available. We have produced a number of items that are very typical of Japan.
In the year 2024, the times have entered an era of diversity, genderlessness, and borderlessness, I wondered what it would mean to convey the "real Japan" in such a free and open world. Whether innovative and cool Japanese modern, stiffly Japanese traditional design, or moderately modern neo-J design, With our experience and achievements to date, we want to introduce the real thing to the world with Japanese sense of style and design and quality!
It is this desire to "connect tradition and future through design, This is what made me decide to start "Made in Japan Store". We will do our best to support you in creating your "Japaneseness", Thank you very much for your cooperation.

LOGO STORY
"When he moves, he's like thunder, when he emits his voice, he's like wind and rain."
I love the courage and unconventionality of Takasugi Shinsaku, a rare and heroic figure of the late Edo period.
I think that if he had lived to see the Meiji Restoration, he would have crossed the ocean and spread his wings and spread his wings into the world with some exciting sense.
The symbol mark of "Nihon Shoten" is inspired by the family crest of the Takasugi family, a hero who built the foundation for Japan as a modern nation with his free-thinking and extraordinary drive, and is filled with the romance of his unfulfilled dream.
The logo typography is also simple and orthodox, resulting in a logo that is both stylish and stylish.
This symbol mark is designed with a motif of four diamonds in a circle.
Each of the four separate motifs has a slightly different shape.
The two vertical letters in the middle, with the top one being larger, represent "the world" and the bottom one being slightly smaller, represent "Japan."
The bottom motif representing "Japan" is shaped to rise upwards, expressing the image of Japan sending out a message to the world.
